Famously known for its award- winning Beach Course and Creek Course, as well as the newly added Short Course, 13^th Beach Golf Links is set on the stunning Bellarine Peninsula with a modern Clubhouse and first-class facilities. 13^th Beach is also the host of the annual Vic Open – won by Hannah Green earlier this year.

The Beach Course

Unique in its design by Tony Cashmore, the Beach Course is set in the dunes and is a marvellous test of any golfer’s ability. With beautifully manicured fairways, greens, and bunkers, it has a strategic design that offers the ultimate in risk reward golf. The first four holes play away from the clubhouse, winding through the houses on the 13^th Beach Estate. The fifth tee is the beginning of a series of dramatic and natural golf holes that look and feel like they were there long before the golf development was opened in 2001.

The Creek Course

Whilst the Beach Course has a strong and wonderful links character, the Creek Course possesses a similar feel to the very best of Melbourne’s sand belt – with gently rolling terrain and interesting bumps, swales, and hollows, all closely mown. A wonderful compliment to the Beach Course, it has gently undulating couch fairways, firm greens, and deep bunkers. Co-developed by Sir Nick Faldo and Tony Cashmore, the Creek Course is quirky, yet creative, with square-cut tees and use of the creek itself and remaining pine trees in its hole strategy.

The Short Course

Just over a year old, the newly opened Short Course comprises of 9 holes with multiple tees. A gentle walk that takes no longer than 1.5 hours, the Short Course is suitable for golfers of all levels with each hole presenting its own strategic challenge.

Facilities

Whilst the core purpose of your journey is likely to be playing the two Championship courses, there are plenty of other fantastic facilities that 13^th Beach has to offer. The ultimate combination of peaceful and functional, the modern Clubhouse is nestled at the heart of the 13^th Beach Estate with panoramic views of the Beach Course. Facilitating corporate retreats, conferencing, private events, and weddings, the passionate and dedicated staff members work towards expertly tailoring experiences to suit the needs and requests of clients. With four distinctly unique spaces, ranging from the classic meeting spaces of the Faldo Room and Lake View Conference Room to the lavish Main Restaurant and relaxed Alfresco Area, there is an abundance of potential when it comes to your experience at 13^th Beach.

Open every day for breakfast and lunch, as well as for dinner on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights, the 13^th Beach Restaurant caters for all tastes. From quick eats to gourmet dishes, and a large range of gluten-free and vegetarian selections, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

The Clubhouse is also home to the distinguished 13^th Beach Golf Shop. With a wide selection of golf brands that partner optimum performance with style, the Golf Shop aims to keep golfers comfortable in every condition. The Thirteenth Beach Golf Academy is located next to the Clubhouse. Led by Certified PGA Professional, Scott Smith, the Golf Academy provides coaching to all levels of golfers. Offering comprehensive game analysis and fitting systems, the Golf Academy aims to ensure that players get the best game possible through professional treatment.

Membership Information

There are a few ways to become a member at 13^th Beach including Leased Membership, Junior Membership or by becoming an Equity Shareholder.

Throughout the Pandemic, the multiple benefits of golf came to light and memberships have never been so popular. Although Leased Memberships are currently full, 13^th Beach welcomes you to join their waitlist, with the next official intake occurring on the 1^st July 2022.

Leased Membership

A Leased Membership is the ideal way to become a member at 13^th Beach, joining for a period of one year to establish course enjoyment and getting a feel for the club atmosphere before becoming an Equity Shareholder. Leased Members have access to all three courses, seven days a week.

Equity Shareholder

With two types of shares available, Shareholders own a pro-rata share of all the assets, including the courses, Clubhouse, and all associated land.

Junior Memberships

With a strong junior player base at 13^th Beach, Junior Memberships are available to players up to the age of 30. Junior Memberships entitle the member to full playing rights, seven days a week, and are available across 4 age categories.

13^th Beach Welcomes New PGA Professional – Robyn Sottile

Certified PGA Professional, Robyn Sottile is the newest addition to the team at 13^th Beach Golf Academy. Competing in five Australian Opens, four Australian Masters and many other professional golfing events around the world, Robyn began her career as an amateur golfer at the Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS). At VIS, she spent five years playing on a scholarship whilst she trained alongside some of Australia’s finest golfers.

In 2003, Robyn shifted her focus towards her true passion for helping others succeed and began her journey as a coach. Since she began coaching, Robyn has been based at Riverside Golf in Ascot Vale. At Riverside, her focus was clinics, junior programs, ladies’ clinics, and private lessons. After receiving a scholarship coaching position at VIS to assist elite players whilst gaining a deeper understanding of her own craft, Robyn went on to be appointed as the PGA’s performance program coach and spent ten years as the head coach of the Maribyrnong Sports Academy.

Seeking a sea-change, Robyn has recently relocated to Ocean Grove, Victoria, with her family. Joining the team at 13^th Beach, Robyn offers clear, simplified coaching in a relaxed and friendly environment whether just beginning the game or wanting to reach for your personal best.

With sixteen luxurious Studio Rooms and four spacious Two-Bedroom suites, the 13^th Beach Golf Lodges are the perfect way to fully immerse yourself during your time at the club. Located less than two-minute stroll to the Clubhouse and ten-minutes from Thirteenth Beach itself, each room has large windows and a patio which overlooks the stunning Beach Course and Lake Murtnaghurt – providing the perfect space to enjoy the many attractions on offer within the Bellarine region.

Stay & Play packages include breakfast in the Clubhouse Restaurant along with 18 holes of golf per night of your stay. Based on guest preference, each room may be configured as King bedding, or two Single beds. All lodge guests receive guaranteed tee-times and discounted Green Fees.
