This April, MyGolf is launching the first MyGolf Girls Month campaign (#mygolfgirls).
The goal is to get more girls having a go at playing golf, whether that be a daughter, granddaughter, niece, or even a few friends.
Throughout April, Golf Australia is highlighting stories of girls getting into golf to raise awareness and encourage others to get involved
in MyGolf Girls.
Golf Australia’s junior products manager Emma Phillips said: “We know that girls involved with golf in their early years go on to be
lifelong participants of the game.
“Sharing the game among females, particularly those at a young age, helps golf continue to drive female participation, which is one of our
main focuses through our Vision 2025 strategy.
“We’re calling on all current participants to share the game with their family members and friends through MyGolf Girls programs around the
country.”
MyGolf Girls is a girls-only program for beginners getting into golf.
Girls have told us that they like to meet and participate with other girls and have more fun! MyGolf Girls is a great chance for girls to
meet others in a fun and relaxed environment and make new friends.
Golf Australia would love to interview any budding young golfers who are enjoying MyGolf Girls! These stories have the opportunity to be
captured and shared during April to celebrate #mygolfgirls month across Golf Australia and PGA of Australia channels.
So please share your stories by emailing mygolf@golf.org.au to let them know more.
Throughout April, tag your social media content using @golfaust and @PGAofAustralia on Instagram and Twitter – and don’t forget to use the
hashtag #mygolfgirls!
Thank you in advance for helping more girls play golf!
