Few golf courses anywhere in the world offer the dramatic contrasts, the scenic beauty and the sheer golfing challenge of Joondalup Country Club’s 27-hole championship golf course.
Designed by the internationally renowned Robert Trent Jones Jr, Joondalup Resort golf course presents a tough, uncompromising lay-out, featuring a great variation in setting and style.
The spectacular Joondalup golf course sweeps across dense bushland, cuts through steep limestone quarries and skirts picturesque lakes, to present surprises and challenges at almost every turn.
It is a course that captures the golfer’s imagination. One minute you are playing an approach shot beneath a 30-metre limestone cliff and
the next you are adapting to the fresh ocean breeze on an undulating links-style fairway.

It has been designed to test the skills of all playing levels but is also renowned for its playability. Sea View is a private members’

Mount Lawley Golf Club is one of Western Australia’s premier sporting clubs, boasting a championship golf course and outstanding facilities. Our cover star, Hannah Green, is a member here. It is a private golf course; however, members of reciprocal clubs are welcomed, and limited opportunities are available for visitors who wish to play at Mount Lawley.
Note: In the Scottish tradition, each of the holes is named and it is a part of the club’s culture to refer to holes by name rather than
number. The club’s signature hole is Commonwealth, a short downhill par three with a green shaped like Australia.

Widely acknowledged as Western Australia’s premier golf club, Lake Karrinyup is a tranquil botanical haven for wildlife. Lake Karrinyup Country Club features a world-class 18-hole championship course and a 9-hole short course with stunning views in every direction.
The North Course is a fabulous feature of Lake Karrinyup Country Club, providing a challenging layout to hone a player’s short game. Measuring approx.1700m (depending on which set of tees are being used) and a par of 31, the North Course demands accuracy of the highest level to score well. Slight misses left or right will invariably result in your ball coming to rest in a position that will make par a difficult score.
We see it as the hidden jewel of Lake Karrinyup. Its blend of magnificent par 3s and par 4s make it the ideal option for players (of all levels) who favour a fast 9 and a good time.
Note: Visiting golfers must be a guest of a Lake Karrinyup member, a member of one of their affiliated clubs with reciprocity or have gained
permission to play directly from club management as an interstate or international visitor.

Here’s one of Perth’s best-kept secrets, even though golfers have been teeing off there since the '60s! The course was built by a team of driven volunteers, and 60 years later the friendly public course is in its best shape yet.
Tucked away behind the settlement between Karma Resort and The Basin, Rottnest Island Public Golf Course combines a 9-hole golf course,
putting green, bowling green, a licensed clubhouse and function space.
